Bring spatial resolution to ultrafast spectroscopy. The 2DQuick Microscope is a compact, motorized platform for transient absorption and coherent two-dimensional microscopy in visible or mid-IR configurations.
BUILD THE SYSTEM YOU NEED
WITH 2DQUICK IR

Add spatially resolved mid-IR measurements to a 2DQuick IR spectrometer.

WITH 2DQUICK VISIBLE

Pair the microscope with a 2DQuick Visible for visible TA and 2D microscopy.

STAND-ALONE

Use it as a stand-alone microscope module with your compatible ultrafast setup.

Start with the configuration that fits your lab now, with room to customize as your experiments evolve.
SEE ULTRAFAST DYNAMICS IN SPACE
TRANSIENT ABSORPTION MICROSCOPY
Focus collinear pump and probe beams onto a sample and scan their position to map local photoinduced changes. Separate spatial maps of probe intensity, ground-state bleach and excited-state absorption help reveal differences that can be hidden in a spatially averaged spectrum.
COHERENT 2D MICROSCOPY
Add spatial resolution to coherent 2D experiments. Correlating excitation and detection frequencies can separate congested spectral features and expose couplings or energy-transfer pathways at selected locations in a sample.

TRANSMISSION OR REFLECTION
2DQuick Microscope optical layout
ONE PLATFORM. MORE SAMPLES.

Configure the microscope for transmission measurements or use the dedicated beamsplitter position for reflection measurements.

Inside the compact enclosure, motorized optics route the collinear pump and probe beams through a high-resolution XYZ sample stage. This flexible optical architecture is designed to make alignment, imaging and experiment changes straightforward.

PRECISE, AUTOMATED SCANNING
Focused beam compared with a negative resolution test target
96 nm XYZ stage step size
25 mm XYZ travel range
0.2 µm collimating objective step size
52× magnification
Typical visible spatial resolution: approximately 1.5 µm for TA and 1.2 µm for 2D at 650 nm.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR LAB
USER-FRIENDLY

Motorized scanning, a motorized collimating objective and a motorized flip mirror reduce repetitive manual adjustments.

EASY TO VIEW

Dual viewing cameras and a computer-controllable LED lamp support sample positioning and wide-field inspection.

CUSTOMIZABLE

Select visible or mid-IR optics, transmission or reflection collection, and integration with a new or existing ultrafast system.
